Welcome to the help page for the Penobscot Bay Press Community Store. Here you can find answers to frequently asked questions (FAQ) along with an easy-to-use e-mail form for contacting us directly. If you would prefer to contact us by phone, please call 207-374-2341 for all subscription-related questions and 207-326-9300 for all other store-related questions.

Answers to the most commonly asked questions are listed in our FAQ. Please check there first. If you don't find what you need in the FAQ, then fill out this e-mail form and press "Send Message" and an e-mail message will be sent to us. Frequently Asked Questions

How do I order items from the store?

To order books, maps or other media, please visit our media site here. To order or renew subscriptions, simply fill out and submit the subscription form here and you will be taken directly to checkout.

Do I need to turn on cookies or javascript in my browser to use the store?

YES, please be sure your web browser is set to allow cookies and javascript; otherwise, you won't be able to use our online store.

Do I need to register to use the store?

Our site no longer requires you to register to order a subscription. The old account pages are still available here for your reference, but new transactions will no longer show up in your account.

Do I need a credit card to use the store?

Currently the only method of payment that we accept in our online store is with a credit card. If you would like to purchase products or subscriptions from us using a different method, please call or visit one of our offices in Stonington (207-367-2200), Blue Hill(207-374-2341) or Castine(207-326-9300).

Do I need an email address to use the store?

YES, to conduct any type of e-commerce you need an e-mail address. Your order confirmation is sent to your e-mail address. Subscription renewal notices are also sent to your e-mail address. Penobscot Bay Press will never sell or give out your e-mail address to anyone. Please see our Privacy Policy for more information.

If you do not have an e-mail address, or if you do not want to give out your primary e-mail address, there are a number of sources online where you can get free e-mail accounts.

Is my credit card information safe?

Penobscot Bay Press Community Storefront uses industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) server technology to ensure that all purchases are safe and secure.
