COVID-19 Local Updates Fall/Winter 2020

Expanded coverage of local COVID outbreak

Because of the recent outbreak of virus cases at the Island Nursing Home and the general up-tick in cases locally, Penobscot Bay Press is expanding our coverage as a public service. Starting today, November 30, we will have daily weekday postings, as necessary, of current information at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. This coverage will include s tories and information we generate, official documents and announcements from medical authorities, local governments, schools and institutions and other pertinent material. To be posted on the Island Ad-Vantages website and announced on our Facebook presence, we are creating this process as a public information clearing house to help everyone keep current with developments and situations. As your community information service, this is our ongoing mission and purpose to help communities function through information sharing.

Please send information you would like us to share to news@pbp.me labeled virus web clearing house.
