Anne Frank’s book dramatized by New Surry Theatre cast
The New Surry Theatre presents The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett, directed by Bec Poole, on Fridays and Saturdays, July 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, July 21, at 3 p.m. at Blue Hill Town Hall Theater.
This dramatization of the book Anne Frank: Diary of a Young Girl, co-authored by Anne Frank and her father, Otto Frank, is not just a memoir of a Holocaust victim but a child’s insightful view of a world gone terribly wrong. After the Sunday matinee on July 21, Shenna Bellows, the executive director of the Holocaust and Human Rights Center of Maine, will lead a discussion with audience members interested in further involvement.
