‘Christmas at the clinic’ sale to benefit health clinic
The Peninsula Free Health Clinic will hold a yard sale at the clinic on Saturday, December 1, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be raffle items, free snacks, and a chance for children to visit with Santa. The clinic is located at 26 Hinckley Ridge Road in Blue Hill.
Everything from wind surfers to fur capes, stocking stuffers to tricycles, holiday wreaths and decor to home goods, and more will be available for purchase, according to a release from the clinic. Shop for yourself and others and feel good about all proceeds going to the clinic which provides medical services to the uninsured.
To arrange for a time to donate items of any kind or for more information, call 374-5185 or 266-5009.
The Free Peninsula Health Clinic is ready to help with exams, prescription renewals, optional expert ideas for living a healthier life and preventing the need for more medications. The nonprofit also provides referrals for no or low-cost lab tests and some imaging thanks to a contract with Northern Light Health Blue Hill Hospital (formerly Blue Hill Memorial Hospital).
The clinic is currently open most second Mondays of the month from 3 to 6 p.m., and is expected to be at the same time and on additional days in the near future.
For updates, questions, or to make an appointment, find the Peninsula Free Health Clinic on Facebook or call 266-5009. Walk-ins are also welcome.
