Reversing Falls Sanctuary receives grant

The Reversing Falls Sanctuary has received a $3,200 grant from the Hancock County Fund of the Maine Community Foundation. The grant is for physical alterations, such as lighting and hanging systems, to display the artistic creations resulting from this year’s Farm/Arts Exchange, as well as providing a year-round venue for the work of local artists, according to a news release from the sanctuary.

The Farm/Arts Exchange, conceived by local artist Patricia Wheeler, seeks to bring the vibrant communities of artists and farmers together to foster mutual support, creativity and community self-reliance.
