Boys soccer: The Eagles shut out Deer Isle-Stonington 3-0 on October 14 with goals by Beowulf Urban (2) and Rowan LeVangie-Thomas. Coming on the heels of a 5-1 win over Bucksport on October 12, the boys are 10-2-1 and ranked fourth, with one game left in the regular season.
Girls soccer: The Eagles rolled over 0-5 at Mount Desert Island on October 9, with goalkeeper Morgan Dauk saving 18 shots in the loss. The girls are ranked seventh with a 5-6-1 record as the regular season winds to a close.
Cross-Country: The varsity team hosted the Hancock County Championships on October 11, where the girls placed second and the boys third. Hanna Gutow and John Hassett were the top runners with eighth-place finishes in the 2.95 mile course.
Golf: The team traveled to Vassalboro for the team championships on October 12. Playing the Arrowhead Course at the Natanis Golf Club, Alex Heilner hit a team-low par of 82. The team finished at 379, in a disappointing ninth place of 11 teams.
Sailing: The Eagle women sailors previewed their spring season at the Becton Cup—MMA’s Women’s Downeast Doublehanded Invite—on October 13 in Castine. Skipper Cecily Page and crew Clover Slagle finished third with “some very consistent sailing,” said coach Tom Gutow.

XC: October 19 at Heron, 12 p.m.
Golf: Individual championships,
October 19, at Vassalboro.
