BLUE HILL—The 12th annual Sedgwick Volunteer Fire Department Car Show is set to hit the Blue Hill Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 13. This rain-or-shine event is a fundraiser for the all-volunteer department.

More than 150 registrants took part in last year’s event, showing their cars and motorcycles in 17 classes. First, second and third place prizes were given, with Best in Show awarded to Rachel Leach of Blue Hill for her 1953 Ford Sunliner.

Registration for this year’s event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon. Doors open to the general public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to the car show there will also be a swap meet, a 50-50 drawing, a raffle and food concessions. The event is sponsored, in part, by the Blue Hill Fair Association.

For more information, contact Dick Doane at 326-9140 or Dave Gulya at davegulya@hotmail.com.
