Brooklin author releases book
Brooklin author Ruth Howell has released a new children’s book, Fairy Friends, a collection of gentle, light-hearted rhymes about fairies who have special jobs to do, like bringing children happy dreams, making cows laugh and keeping track of time. The book includes full page, color illustrations by B. L. Bachmann.
Fairy Friends is available in hardcover at Union River Toys & Book Store in Ellsworth or online at Amazon and Barnes & Noble. A “read to me” version of the e-book is also available online.
Howell is a former journalist who has received several Press Association awards. Although she also writes for adults, writing for children remains her first love, she said in a press release. She lives with her husband and their menagerie of animals in a cottage on the Salt Pond.
