The boys fifth-place spot in the Heal Point standings bought them a bye in the prelim post-season match. The results of their quarter-final game against Houlton on October 24 was not available by press time.

The girls played their prelim game on October 18, but failed to move into the quarters with a 3-1 loss to Dexter.

“We split games during the season,” said Coach Steve Bemiss. “But [Dexter] won this one. They did the very best they could.”

The girls finish 5-6-3 for the season in ninth place.

“It all goes to how much time we have to work with them,” Bemiss said of his mostly new players. “Most of them just walked onto the field [this fall].”
