The 11th annual Sedgwick Volunteer Fire Department Car Show is set to hit the Blue Hill Fairgrounds on Saturday, July 14. This rain-or-shine event is a fundraiser for the all-volunteer department.

More than 150 registrants took part in last year’s event, showing their cars and motorcycles in 17 classes. First, second and third places prizes were given, with Best in Show awarded to a Deer Isle couple with a 1947 Morris Minor.

Registration for this year’s event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon.

In addition to the car show there will also be a swap meet, a 50-50 drawing, a raffle and food concessions.
