Eagle Scout project helpers

From left to right: Dana Willis, Cindy Willis, Jan Ordway, Jacob Clark, Logan Spratt, Luke Cukierski, David Wyman, Jocelyn Willis, John Gray and Julia Gray assembled Sunday morning, May 1, to assist Logan Spratt in the installation of a path kiosk, his Eagle Scout project, marking a planned nature path on the grounds of the Wilson Museum. Logan describes his project as a collaborative effort: “My Eagle Scout project is a requirement for the Scouts BSA rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in scouting. The project is a great opportunity for me to give to the museum. I have enjoyed going to the Wilson Museum throughout my childhood, so it was an easy decision to approach them for my project. I was really excited at the idea of working on the creation of the entrance to a future nature trail. I have been working with Mr. Wyman on the design and building of the kiosk this winter and with Mr. Ordway on the entrance area and installation. The next steps include adding some stain to the kiosk, planting some native perennials by the sign, and working with Ms. Gray on the content of the sign materials. We are all still working on trail name ideas.”
