DIAA presents ‘Future Tense’
While living in the present it is also important to consider the future, and “Future Tense” has challenged artists of the Deer Isle Artists Association to do so through their creative outlets.
This latest show at the Deer Isle Artists Association Gallery, which runs September 8-20, features work by Don Bardole, Cynthia Bourque Simonds, Peggy de Wolf, Judith Felch, Jill Finsen, Herman Kidder, Frederica Marshall, Woodley Osborne, Carolyn Raedle, David Simonds and Paul Trowbridge. Pictured is Woven Baskets by Judith Felch.
The gallery is now fully open and will be staffed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., daily. Visitors are asked to observe COVID-19 protocol, including wearing masks, maintaining social distance and limiting the number of visitors inside the gallery to only a few at a time.
The DIAA Gallery is located at 15 Main Street in Deer Isle village. When the gallery is not open, work can be purchased by calling 348-2330 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Curbside pick-up can then be arranged.
