Garden tour highlights work and home gardens

The Evergreen Garden Club of Deer Isle opened seven gardens across the island to visitors on June 29. From elaborate stonewalls to hedges made of peony, those on the self-guided saw a wide range of gardens, each with a unique landscape and curated selection of trees, flowers and shrubs.
