Gingerbread houses spice up the holidays

Audrey Peasley and her daughter Diane Harmon brought a little bit of Christmas to Brooksville Elementary School on November 27, with homemade gingerbread houses and the candy to decorate them. Students in Andrea Gray’s pre-K/kindergarten class each had their own house to decorate with every candy from gum drops to candy canes. The gingerbread house decorating event is an annual one for Peasley and Harmon, as a way to bring “their Christmas” to the school, according to Peasley.
