BROADBAND NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF BROOKLIN AND SEDGWICK Your selectboard wants you to have important information about the coming Fidium Fiber broadband project. Consolidated Communications (CCI) will be accepting orders and building the fiber network in late 3rd and 4th quarters of 2022. If your electricity and/or telephone service is connected to your housing unit via buried conduit, you will need to check capacity for a new fiber strand and not wait until fall. CCI will connect you at no cost, but if you need conduit, you are responsible for procurement. Conduit can not be installed once the ground is frozen. This, added to a conduit shortage, means we encourage you to begin adding needed conduit capacity now. Both Town offices have a list of potential contractors who install conduit.Brooklin Selectboard Sedgwick Selectboard |
