On the educational side, the Integrator works with teachers, staff, and students to develop and enhance the use of technology in the classrooms and the curriculum, including directing a switch to remote learning if that becomes necessary. On the technical side, the Integrator is responsible for the acquisition and maintenance of all school devices and connectivity issues. There is also an on site Fab Lab. This position requires strong technical skills (operating systems, networking, software management), a thorough understanding of school and educational environments, and a positive, good-humored commitment to serving the general school community. We also require a Maine 680 certificate as well as Maine DOE fingerprinting (CHRC).
