TOWN OF STONINGTON Stonington Short Term Rental Registration DEADLINE EXTENDED

Pursuant to the ordinance adopted at Town Meeting Monday, March 6, registration of rentals began on Thursday, April 6. For those whose Short-Term Rental (STR) units have been in operation for a minimum of one year prior to December 31, 2022, "grandfathered" registrations are NOW DUE JUNE 30. All registrations submitted after this extended deadline will be subject to 1000' density requirements as well as other provisions in the ordinance from which grandfathered properties are exempt.
